How Insco Injury Law collects, uses, and protects information shared through this website.

Last updated: May 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Insco Injury Law ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit inscoinjurylaw.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with the firm through this website. By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Important: No attorney-client relationship

Submitting information through this Site, including through any contact form, chat, email, or telephone call, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Insco Injury Law. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after we conduct any required conflict check and both parties enter into a written representation agreement. Until that point, do not send confidential or time-sensitive case information through this Site, and any information you do send may not be treated as confidential or privileged.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you contact us through the Site, you may voluntarily provide:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Preferred method of contact
  • A description of your situation or potential claim
  • Confirmation of consent to be contacted

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting and analytics providers, including:

  • IP address (in truncated form for security and rate-limiting purposes)
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, referring URL, and date/time of access
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see "Cookies" below)

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to inquiries, provide consultations, and evaluate potential cases
  • Conduct conflict checks before establishing representation
  • Maintain internal records of intake activity
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Comply with applicable laws, court orders, and ethical obligations

Service providers we share information with

We use a small set of trusted third-party service providers to operate the Site and process inquiries. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their service and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments:

  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Postmark — transactional email delivery for consultation inquiries.
  • Google (Apps Script & Sheets) — secure logging of consultation inquiries to an internal spreadsheet accessible only to firm personnel.
  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate, anonymized website usage statistics. Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Google Search Console — site-verification metadata used for indexing diagnostics.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (optional) — automated abuse detection on the contact form when enabled.
  • Google Translate (optional) — on-demand machine translation when you choose a language other than English or Spanish.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising or marketing.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies (such as those that store your cookie-consent preference and protect the Site against abuse) are always active. Optional analytics cookies are loaded only after you grant consent through our cookie banner.

You can change your preferences at any time using the "Manage Preferences" link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain Site features.

Data retention

Consultation inquiries are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your request, evaluate potential representation, and meet our records-management and legal obligations. We periodically review and remove records that are no longer needed.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), gives you the following rights with respect to personal information we collect:

  • Right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and (if applicable) sold or shared.
  • Right to access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as records we are required to retain to comply with legal or ethical obligations).
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information at the bottom of this Policy. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We do not "sell" your personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information collected through the Site, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and limited internal sharing. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to remove the information.

Links to other websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Communications and SMS/text messages

If you provide your phone number, we may contact you by phone or text message about your inquiry. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or contact us directly to be removed from any communication channel.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated by other reasonable means.
